It is with a heavy heart this morning that we say good-bye to Hope. You may remember seeing Hope & her story several times on FB -- she was a senior (15+) who was found all alone down by a river unable to climb up the hill to safety. She was rescued by a saint, but very fragile & unhealthy. She became a GREAT dog & found an absolutely GREAT, loving, caring hospice foster home with The Utters, who didnt care how fragile she was or how old she was...they just knew she was worthy of being loved. And boy, did they do that. Yesterday, The Utter Family was lovingly by Hopes side to tell her good-bye as she crossed over to a place with no more pain or suffering. Do you think fostering makes a difference? We know for Hope, it made all the difference in her life. Well, it gave her hope. Thank you to The Utters for the unconditional love you gave Hope, the care you gave her in her last days & for not leaving her even when times were difficult. You are in our thoughts & prayers. (the photos are of Hope when she was first rescued & then of her happy & comfortable in her foster home)
