It is with a very heavy heart that I am writing to let you know our little MN PAWS flower Rose has crossed over the rainbow bridge. Rose taught us so much about strength, perserverance, trust and love. When she was rescued from the cold November (2012) streets, completely blind with rotted teeth and overgrown nails; We assumed that in her condition and advanced age she would not be adoptable. MN PAWS decided to make her life as good as possible in permenant foster. Many of you donated towards her medical care and she blossomed. Rose surprised us all with her spunk and bravery. Each evening dinner required extra fixings for Rose. She lived as a part of our family just shy of two amazing years. Even the day before she passed she was play bowing, wagging her tail and giving kisses. I am posting a few of my favorite moments with Rose. The first photo is from when she first arrived in foster and is cuddling with her foster dad. The last two photos are from this summer. Rose loved to be outside in the sun and laying in the grass was the tops. The last one is a great memory of my neighbor Kaia giving her some love...Rose was in heaven that day getting pets from a young girl, her tail was wagging non stop. Rest in peace little one, you are deeply missed.
