It is with both great joy and sadness today that I say I have decided not to return to the University of Alabama next year. I feel very strongly that God is calling me to my home in Texas for both the short and long term. Going to Alabama was an incredible experience and I met some of the most amazing people and some lifelong friends whom I am extremely grateful for. Leaving those wonderful friends and my brothers at LSP is going to be difficult, but when God calls, its always in your best interest to answer. This semester I will be taking a few classes, looking for an internship and living at home. After this one semester at home I will be looking to attend Texas A&M University in the Spring and pursue a degree in journalism. This next step in my life may be a bit frightening but I feel prepared to take it and follow wherever it may eventually lead.
