It is with deep regret that I announce that Gerry’s BBQ will no longer be a vendor at the Yarmouth Farmers’ Community Market. We deeply regret the disappointment it will bring to our loyal customers. Leah and I thank you for your support and are truly sorry we will not be there to greet you and supply you with your weekly “fix.” As those who know me or follow my postings on line will know, the Local Food movement and farmers’ markets in general and the Yarmouth Farmers’ Community Market in particular have always had my full and unflinching support. I have been involved locally, one way or another for over 10 years. This support remains unchanged. Support for locally produced foods and those who produce them is vital to our food safety and security. Gerry’s BBQ will live on. I am still available to provide low and slow, smoked Pulled Pork, Brisket and Ribs for receptions, meetings parties and other gatherings. I have a few other ideas up my sleeve too! Please stay tuned!
