It is with deep regret that we will have to cancel the Battle in - TopicsExpress

It is with deep regret that we will have to cancel the Battle in the Buckeye. We have invested countless hours and money into organizing and promoting this show, but unfortunately the turnout is very low and the show would ultimately no longer be a competition. We know how much effort, blood, sweat and tears go into prep, so we felt it was best at this time to stop the show and allow for the competitors to find a show where there will be competition to showcase their efforts. To go through with a show where there may be only one competitor in a class would be insulting to the athletes and all the effort they have put into prep. It would be unfair to the competitors, judges, audience, volunteers, sponsors and organization to promote a show where there is no foreseen competition. As stated, we have spent countless hours, have emotionally and monetarily invested in this show, however are going to walk away in the best interest of the competitor and integrity of the sport. We want this to be a good experience for people at every level and we would like the competitors to have a chance to reach whatever their goals are and compete against quality competition. We would like to thank everyone who was registered to support the show. We would like to thank Bob and Tina Bell and Nancy Andrews for giving us this opportunity. We also would like to thank everyone that volunteered to help with the show. Again, we are truly sorry for this unfortunate situation. Sincerely, Jim Collins, Mike Caruso, & Sean Young
