It is with regret that we are announcing that The Laughing Onion is to close. It is just over a year since the restaurant was opened in Brackley, and in that time we believe we have fulfilled our aim to serve great food in a relaxed atmosphere. Whilst we have not always got it right, feedback from customers has been overwhelmingly positive, and many of you have become our regulars. We have really enjoyed getting to know you, and have appreciated your support more than words can say. However we have not so far achieved the level of turnover needed for financial viability. Such success as the restaurant has enjoyed has been in large measure due to the commitment and effort of our staff. We would like to thank them for their loyalty, and the contribution they have made to providing our customers with delicious meals and excellent service. We are currently planning for our last opening night to be Saturday August 2nd, when we are hosting the Holly Perkins band as part of the Brackley Fringe festival. We may have a few further special nights during August as our ‘swan song’ if there is enough interest in this. Watch this space for further details.
