It is with sadness that I farewell my Indian Ringneck, Indy, - TopicsExpress

It is with sadness that I farewell my Indian Ringneck, Indy, today. No he has not passed away. I am actually giving him away. I foolishly thought that we could all live happily ever after - me, the cat and the bird. And whilst some might say last in, first out - Indy needs more bird contact and human contact than I can provide. He is unable to fly due to his long term injuries and if you have been reading my posts you will know that Bellas hunting instincts are strong. Its not her fault - but not good for Ind to be living in my bathroom. I am upset. Very upset. Like losing one of the family. (Glad Ive got my YL Joy handy). But the only good thing is that he is going to a bird loving family. They have lots and lots and lots. When they heard of Indys plight, said of course he can live here. I know he will be happy in his new home. Love you Indy.
