It is with the heaviest of hearts that I tell everyone that Rinato had to be humanely euthanized this morning. He had finally put on just enough weight that we thought we could start his heartworm treatment this week but this morning his loving foster Mommy found him in full congestive heart failure. He was most probably heartworm positive very early on in his brief life. The one saving grace in all of this is that Rinato KNEW LOVE, KINDNESS, PATIENCE and what it felt like to live in a home if only for a brief time. Thank you soooo much Lindsey Valenti for giving this lost soul love up to his last day of life. Gods speed Rinato...I know I will never ever forget what we went through together.
