It just came to mind, I was looking through some receipts and found one that was a repair on one my consoles for the changing of the batteries. As I recall, most electronic and some electronic consoles for pipes have battery backup. Most techs when they service will ask you if the battery has been changed. If they dont ask or you havent a service call in sometime, you might check them because they can leak and cause considerable damage to circuit board. The change of a simple battery can save a few dollars in the long run.
