It just hit me that Aaron Oeser and my non wedding anniversary of living together was 12 years this past Tuesday. I remember we really wanted to save to buy an apt. but I was an assist planner and Aaron was going to school and working both full time. I remember we gave ourselves a total budget of $40 a week spending budget (yup) and splurging was two big heroes at the corner dirty deli. We did it though after 15 hr days at Pratt for Aaron and me stealing milk from work and wrapping up rep sandwiches from lunch for dinner, we bought and renovated our first apt when I was 25. And now I am sitting here listening to Charley play in her crib and say mamamamamama repeatedly. Sometimes you need to look back to remember how far you have come.
