It looks like Ill be leaving the hospital tomorrow afternoon. Final verdict: Burst Fracture of the L1 and a bulging disc. Body brace for three months. I should be able to drive in a couple of weeks and hopefully move back into my own home. In the meantime I am beyond grateful for all of the love, support and help I have been receiving from family and friends. Special and enormous thanks to my mother, Sue Rosen Koritz for always being there for me and my sister Debbie Koritz Lefton for dropping everything and showing up in my Jefferson City hospital room within moments of hearing of my accident and never leaving my side. I am soooo blessed.
