It may interest people to understand how “SUMMERLAND” was written many people do not know what automatic writing is or how it works. Like all forms of mediumship there is a scale of degree from very light trance being a version of sublime inspiration and thoughts given, to almost being unaware of what is given, to what I experienced in the writing of the book which is given below. I do, because in one sense it was work, through me, understand it as “my book” however always when I am asked I say that it is spirit’s book I “just happened to be there” when it was written and in that I can take no credit at all. I am blessed that spirit saw fit to produce this work through me; I was a channel that is all. Just like a healer cannot ever say “they heal” as a healer myself I know that again I (or someone) need to be the conduit but I am only a conduit, I myself can achieve nothing unless spirit is willing. It is exactly the same with all forms of mediumship, yes we need to have a gift – actually everybody has an ability whether it is hidden deep or not, yes we all need to develop – there are so few “Natural mediums” that have ever lived and probably can only count those on one hand, but that gift needs to be nurtured and brought out and developed. Hence the phrase “Developing” when a person sits “for development” of those gifts we posses. The writing process The book was written by Automatic Writing that is, spirit thoughts were written by them guiding the pen on the paper, through the Medium. There are many kinds of trance mediumship. I was given thoughts & pictures, words until I could resist no more and I would get up from bed. Finding paper & pen I would go into a trance after, when I had woke; I would read back what had been written. I was reading it for the first time. The book took three months to write however the total time period was approximately three years. Spirit have waited for the right time, this was channelled in 1987. Those inexperienced may think this remarkable when you consider that often I would have stopped in mid sentence with sometimes many months in between writing yet, the next trance session began at the very next word. Apart from spell checking, added character accents & layout it is as complete as it was given (with the exception of some of Jimi Hendrix’s lyrics). This book has been written by automatic writing. The Medium has taken the decision that as the book was written whole, in trance, with very little interference or colouring except for accents and spell-check’s, punctuation etc that the wiser minds at work should be left with their work as much intact as possible. There is much that it has taught me in its intact, raw form and this is the reason for its being in the first place after all. Those of you who are sensitive yourselves will perceive that there are various authors in this work and their flavours are different from each other. You may detect the point when one has taken over from the other. Many people do. In its intact raw form it has shown the remarkable ability to have kick-started development in other people. Something I was not aware of until those who had read it began to tell me of their new experiences..... Will you try it? Will open yourself to the possibility of communing with your loved ones, directly? The choice is of course yours... but if you do a wonderful world of love will open up for you, bringing out the real spiritual you that has been yearning to escape, when the time is right.
