It official I got my phone call from Indiana University Medical that they are sending me to Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minn. Mayo Clinic has called and I will be their for three days of testing on Sept 16th. My Drs want a second opinion on my treatment and some help with my care. Danny and I will enjoy the time .After being discharged from the hospital for pain control I had an appointment the next day to see my Doctors at Indiana University for my 12 week check up. I am scheduled to see a Rheumatologist to become involved in my care at Indiana University. My pulmonologist and neurologist are concerned the disease has spread to my spine ,bones and possible muscles. In my mind its okay but my body says something different They are concerned I may have lupus or M.S once you have one its easy to develop another. I joined a support group which others have the same illness. I told Danny the night I came home from the hospital one of them posted. If you had one wish what would you want that you was able to do before you became ill. I read their comments : be able to walk with my daughter at the zoo, be able to climb a flight of stairs without feeling short of breath and weak. I started to cry it broke my heart that they are so sick. Then I said to Danny thats me. I woke up today with no pain but very weak. I am so blessed with such a beautiful life. I love my Danny more then I could ever explain and our children and all those beautiful grandchildren. I cant forget how blessed we are to have our beautiful daughter in-law Kyla Lazzell and son in-law Rob Demith I know we say we are so blessed and we need to enjoy today. Its so powerful God has blessed us with this beautiful day and all that he has given us. I see things around me that I never gave time for. Those are the blessing God has given us. Embrace it and give God your love .
