It really is the little things in sanctuary life... So many people dont know what it truly means to run a sanctuary. The hours every day spent doing chores and cleaning seem to be endless. We love our babies, but cleaning up after bunnies, horses, cats, dogs and guinea pigs (who each require different cleaning supplies and methods) takes a lot of willpower and commitment. Know what makes our day just a *smidge* better? New smells. Yep. The smell of urine day in and day out, along with the typical lemon scented cleaner becomes the norm. It may sound crazy, but getting supplies with new smells can make a HUGE impact on us. Who would have thought the occasional lavender scented Lysol wipes or Febreze infused Mr. Clean would make cleaning up (often urine, vomit, etc.) just a little better! We are almost out of Mr. Clean, but it would brighten our day to receive the Mr. Clean with Febreze! Something else we could never run out of? GLOVES! Spending multiple hours per day cleaning can take a toll, and gloves make a big difference. We have small Walmart Wish List for you to browse if you have just a few dollars to spare....
