It`s that time of year! As my rafting and backpacking season begin to wind down and the leaves turn gold and the Cascades start getting dusted with fresh autumn powder, the snowboarding bug begins to bite! This is the time of year that I will begin to post my reviews of the boards that I test rode the latter part of last winter and will continue to ride into this winter. I am focusing more of my snowboarding on back country splitboarding and along with this review of the Billy Goat, I have a brand new 2014 Neversummer Prospector to test and review as well as give feedback to Neversummer. The boards that I was assigned by Neversummer this year are the 2014 Raptor, F1 Premier, Cobra HD and the Prospector split. I spent quite a few days on this 2013 Gnu Billy Goat and it lived up to my expectations and demands as an aggressive, responsive and sure footed board in the most demanding advanced free ride terrain that the Cascades could give it.
