It saddens me to announce the passing of Phyllis Stubblefield Heckmann on November 30, 2014 in Los Altos, CA. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Dr James Heckmann and her daughters, Gretchen Heckmann Satterly and Meghan Heckmann Knox. I was told Phyllis was a phenomenal RN and a loving mother of children, besides her own. I was pleased to learn she never feared voicing her opinion and possessed an amazing sense of humor, which is exactly how I remember her from Grant Line elementary to the halls of NAHS. Rest in peace, my friend.
