It seems like it was just yesterday that my passion for something - TopicsExpress

It seems like it was just yesterday that my passion for something that was all mine was born. We have had a love hate relationship over the last 10 years for sure. Sometimes as a business owner you often wonder what the hell you got yourself in to. Nights like tonight make it all make sense. In the beginning, I opened A Salon 7 because I was gay and needed a safe haven for myself and others like me. Point blank. I had never managed people before, but I knew I liked them. It wasnt necessarily my dream to own a business; however, it is has been the one constant thing in my life. When I need leverage, a voice, solitude, a proud moment, a shoulder to cry on, a reason to evolve, something to nurture, to fulfill my creative vices it has been there. The interestingly amazing folks that Ive had the honor of sharing my home with has made me who I am today - whether we are still friends or not. The core group that I have called my family for the last 10 years have been my rock when I wasnt strong enough to make the right decisions. My gratitude is higher than the heavens. Im eternally grateful for you and your heart. Our 10 year anniversary party is for YOU RENO! Thank you will never be enough. Sooooo booze, pretty people, and a fabulous show are just a small fraction of my gratitude. Thank you.❤️❤️❤️ Its not just salon - its a community.
