It seems my time with Books and Booze is coming to an end. My last show will be recorded on November 5th. Renee is going to carry on through the second week of February to make sure all our advertisers get their time in and then it’s on to other things. It has been an amazing experience and I truly hate to say goodbye. I want to thank all the constant listeners and fans that stopped by to see who the guest was, asked questions, and were supportive of me. I’ve made so many friends. It breaks my heart to think of the new friends I won’t meet. But never fear, I’ll still be out there supporting authors I love in different ways – maybe writing those amazon reviews I always say I’m going to write, hosting readings, attending readings, buying books like a madwoman, and recommending them to anyone who will listen. I love all of you. Some of you intimidated me, some empowered me, others challenged me to be better and look at things differently. And a few of you I could have probably done without. Such is life. But this has been overwhelmingly positive and I am grateful. Let’s still be friends and have great conversations together – only this time I guess I won’t record them.
