It seems that Bix would sometimes repeat certain progressions of notes in different recordings - I can only assume because he liked the way they sounded. A good example is at 1:50 in his recording of Three Blind Mice (recorded with Tram on August 23, 1927) compared to 1:53 in There Aint No Land Like Dixieland, recorded with the Broadway Bellhops just one month later.
