It seems the video I posted that calls out Victoria Osteen for preaching false doctrine has some of her fans upset. Well, let us look at what the Word has to say. For, as the saying goes,,,The spin stops here! Now, I URGE you, brethren, MARK THEM which cause divisions and TEACH things CONTRARY to the doctrine which ye have learned; and AVOID THEM Rom. 16:17 First, they cant be MARKED and AVOIDED, unless they are JUDGED according to the Word of God! My friends, I do not lay in wait trying to catch these people speaking falsely; their own hearts BETRAY them! For out of the heart flows the ISSUES of life! When are we going to raise our voices and stop letting these false prophets and teachers hide behind their misinterpretations of Matt. 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged! Remember, the Word also says to us, believers,,, For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those INSIDE the CHURCH whom you are to JUDGE? 1 Cor. 5:12 Judge not according to the appearance, but JUDGE righteous JUDGMENT John 7:24. Here our Lord commands that we are to judge righteous judgment, which is judgment based upon the Word of God! But strong meat belongs to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to DISCERN both good and evil Heb. 5:14 Those who are unwilling or incapable of discerning or judging between good and evil in this manner are revealing either their disobedience or their immaturity. The flesh pleasing, ear tickling, back scratching, self-centered gospel being spew out by these pillow prophets, which echo nothing but peace, peace, peace and happy, happy, happy is what has so many falling away from the true message of the Cross, because it is a crossless, rootless, clueless gospel. It speaks nothing of counting the cost! It speaks nothing of fiery trials! It speaks nothing of the chastening of the Lord! So, when trials come, when temptation rears its ugly head, and the chastening of the Lord occurs; its listeners fall by the wayside, because their faith rests upon the foundation of feelings! Their hope, their joy, their strength is determined by temporal happiness; not the joy unspeakable and full of glory spoken of in the Word of God! For MY OWN SAKE, for MY OWN SAKE, I do this. How can I let myself be defamed? I will not YIELD my GLORY to another Is. 48:11 The WHOLE purpose of gathering together is to WORSHIP HIM! Church is much more than a gathering of goose-bump seekers and feel-good want-a-bes! HELLO! Wake up, church!! Stop trying to make excuses for the spirit of the anti-christ! For thats just what it is! A spirit of the anti-christ! And, such a spirit will always whispering in the ears of those it deceives, Its not about God! Its all about you! Man was CREATED and CHOSEN by God for HIMSELF!! God created man for HIS GLORY; meaning, He wants us to GLORIFY His Name, and we can only due that in spirit and in truth! And, to do that we must FIRST love Him with all our heart, with all our soul, and with all our mind! What ever happened to the Gospel of Col. 3:1,2? If ye then be risen with Christ, SEEK THOSE THINGS which are ABOVE, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your AFFECTION on things above, NOT ON THINGS OF THE EARTH?! Beloved, believe not every spirit, but TRY the spirits, whether they be of God; because MANY false prophets are gone out into the world I John 4: 1 All doctrine and teachers are to be TRIED according to the Word of God. Sadly, many false teachers are free to spread their poisonous doctrines today, because there is a CONSPIRACY of SILENCE among LIBERAL HEARTED believers, who are AFRAID to MENTION the names of these wolves in sheeps clothing! And, therefore, they are left to ravage the flock, and devour the sheep! John the Baptist called the Pharisees and Sadducees a generation of vipers (snakes) Matt. 3:7. Today, he would be accused of being judgmental, unloving, unkind, and unchristian! Paul called out Peter publicly in Gal. 2:11-14 Because the whole issue revolved around salvation by the law or by grace. Whenever, the integrity and purity of the gospel is at stake, then, we have no choice but to expose error and name the names of those who are doing it. Paul named Demas for loving the world. For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world 2 Tim. 4:10 Paul named Hymenaeus and Philetus. in 2 Tim. 2:15-18 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. And their word will eat as doth as canker. of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some 11 Tim. 2:15-18 False doctrine overthrows the faith of some, so those who proclaim it, must be exposed! John named Diotrephes. I wrote unto the church; but Diotrephes, who loves to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not 3 John 9 Paul also named Alexander the coppersmith. Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil. the Lord reward him according to his works: Of whomm beware thou also, for he hath greatly withstood our words II Tim. 4:14-15 In Truth, the whole Bible is full of examples of false prophets being named and exposed. So, those who say judge not lest ye be judged as an excuse for not exposing error,,,are in error, themselves; because that is simply not the correct interpretation of that verse! We must expose error and name those who are promoting error! For this is what it means to earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints Jude 3 Why does the Holy Spirit give us the gift of discerning of spirits; if we are not to use this gift? I encourage you, my friends, dont let the naysayers silence your trumpet in Zion! Dont let those who fear men put the fear of man in you! Dont let those who hold to politically correct doctrines cause your doctrines to become Biblically incorrect!! The spin stopped here!
