It seems to me that the removal of Dan Harmon from Kenpo Karate Family International needs to be made more public. I have put together a brief announcement. I am asking people to copy the section below (not this part) and paste it in any group devoted to martial arts on facebook. Spread it as far and wide as possible please, because you know Harmon wont admit it. Dan Harmon has been removed as Colorado representative of the Kenpo Karate Family International (KKFI). Harmon had been announced as the representative by Brad Marshall, founder and head of the KKFI on Thursday, May 29th (American time.) A furor erupted and the many problems with Harmons claims brought to his attention through a facebook group entitled Bullshit Martial Art. Harmons certificates were labeled completely fraudulent by people fluent in Japanese and native speakers of the language and it was said they made the same mistakes translation programs are known to make. A photo Harmon claims was taken with his teacher of ninjutsu in Japan was proven to instead be of a mental health counselor named Charles Sakai who lived in the same city as Harmon (Colorado Springs) before his death in 2012. In addition, Harmons criminal record, the times he was sent to prison and the fact that his children were taken away for their safety were also discussed. By the end of day on May 30th, Harmons name had been quietly purged from Marshalls facebook page and that of the KKFI.
