It should come as no great surprise, but I find the phrase trust, but verify to be far more credible than listen, and believe. If this story is true, then the people involved at all levels, including the administration, need to be held accountable. It also proves what Ive been saying for a while, which is that criminal matters need to be left to the REAL police, not school administrators. But if this story is true, it requires a LOT of faith. The writer is correct, it COULD have happened, but it requires a lot of incredible coincidences, as well as a cartoonish amount of evilness on the part of her friends. I will be very interested in what, if anything, the officials turn up by way of evidence. After all, if gang rape is a rite of initiation for this fraternity, it shouldnt be too hard to turn up SOME evidence.
