It takes a special kind of human to beat or mistreat an animal...which is why after months of the girls, Dan and I watching our neighbors across the street mistreat their 7+ dogs (the limit per residential household is 4, btw), I called in and reported them yesterday. Their actions towards one of the dogs was just the last straw for me. Animal control did actually show up today. However, one of the 5 or so tenants of the house kept them outside talking to them. They never tried to go inside the house...which is where the dogs that exceed the limit are. They only looked at the ones outside...from a distance. Then after "animal control" left the older lady came outside and screamed at and hit one of the dogs for barking. Well that was real effective. #rantoftheday #pointless
