It takes a super cricket fan to know and understand what Im going through right now. Im a wreck! I knew the day would come. In fact, I am one of those who were calling for his retirement. Not that it was easy for me to do that. It was extremely hard. As a kid who grew up playing sports and idolised many sporting heros from Pete Sampras to Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, from M Jordan to S ONeal to L James, from Phil Mickelson to Tiger Woods to Lee Westwood, from Micheal Phelps to Chad Le Cloos, from Luis Ronaldo to Lionel Messi, from M Schumacher to Sebastian Vettel and ofcourse from TENDULKAR, Lara, Ponting, Kallis and Dravid to Amla, de Villiers, Kohli, Clarke and Pietersen. Today a little champion from a big cricketing nation informed the world of his decision to retire from the game this November. My hero! And a hero to my mates who grew up in the 90s and once played cricket with a tennis ball and a self made cricket bat. The ones who emulated the master. Playing the STRAIGHT DRIVE barefooted in the streets. I looked up to the great man. A world cup champion, a record breaking batsman and one of the Top 5 specialist bats this world has ever seen. I salute him. The master, the Lil Master, the Master Blaster. .. Jersey No 10... Tendlya. I salute you Sachin Tendulkar. A man who who made his debut in international cricket at the age of 16 in 1989. Today the champion calls it after nearly 24 years of service.... I am proud to say I will tell my kids that as far as my world goes... I lived in the age of SACHIN RAMESH TENDULKAR!!...#Emotional
