It takes the perfect amount of both blessing and difficulty to become all God wants you to become. He uses both, and allows them to come at just the right time, to bring your heart to perfection before Him. Its a process that never ends, but when you know Gods heart for you, and that His banner over you (or motive of His heart) is love, you will not be offended, but rather your heart will be prepared for The Lord. Dont lose heart my friends! The Lords desire is to bring good out of everything we go through.
