It took me 28 years to learn what I want. Here it is... My rules for dating. Give a man 90 days to get to you and if he passes each subtle test in those 90 days than hes worth your full attention :) I will be expecting the following from a man.... Persistence... He must seek me with persistence and consistency If he gives his word he must keep it Never make a plan he doesnt intended to keep. If he says hes taking me out then he shows up on time. Answers the phone when I call not just my texts unless hes at work. Brings me home to his family. Involves me in family activities dinners graduations holidays bbqs ect. Can answer his text with out turning it sideways pretending its not noticeable. He must be able to leave his phone unattended in my presence with nothing to hide.... Being honest about all friends and aquantences if he has a female friend...introduce us. He must have a goal in mind... And be motivated. If he doesnt have a job then he scraps metal just to be independent. Offers to help me with out me asking even though I handle my own. He has to kiss me on forehead and tell me Im beautiful even when I know I look bad and just need to be loved. A man who will tell me when Im wrong but defend me even if I was right to everyone else. If hes broke on valentines day then he makes me a card n does something cute that requires no money. In his eyes... With all my flaws I will be perfect and my kids will be as well. He has to be smart both book and street ... He has to be strong in every sense. He has to be motivated, strong willed, determined and kind. Honest even if hes wrong and willing to admit his wrongs and strong enough to ask for forgiveness.
