It took two years, a couple months, and I would say a week or two lol, but I finally see why the majority of people I asked about college said the best four years of your life! Being a duke student I initially just saw it as a harsh place of difference. I thought that I would never come to like this place or the majority of these people :(! But looking at it now, I am seeing all the great memories. From the Epic Epworth Family and the 1st floor hall of brotherhood to all the unique individuals and stories at Duke and the Triangle. It has shown me that the freedom and authority to make decisions and discover deeper truths of life, themselves, and others is a once of a lifetime experience that no soul can ever relive authentically! The memories and friendships I have seen torn, built, and preserved is amazing and irreplaceable. To those going to college, be prepared for a journey of hard work and amazing memories. To those in college, make the most of all the time, tears, laughs, and love you have and have yet to have:). The strong and the weak differ not by their skill set or mind. But by the efforts of the the soul to protect and uplift those around them while preserving their own principles and morals. #ProudDukeStudent#Classof2016YuhLarge!
