It was 14 years ago that I spent the night sitting in a hospital room, believing that my precious husband was going to be going home with me in a few more days. By early morning the Angels lifted him to be with our Lord, and it left a space that remained black and empty for what seems like an eternity. Every other inch of my soul has been happy and positive and determined to be the best human being I can be, and although I have failed many times... Everything about me is alive.. except that black space...that empty hole. Recently I began to rethink that whole attitude, and realize that the hole is not black and empy.. it is filled with beautiful, loving, kind moments and three decades of love that no man could stop. My life like many others has had many ups and downs...yet the Ups far outweigh the downs.. I wont ramble on here...so just know that this past couple weeks have been very difficult. I share along with many of you, your own heartbreaks and pains, and thankfully some joys as well. God is my Higher Power, there is none higher; and you are my family.. Thank you for all the prayers and sweet healing wishes across this country that were sent with my name. Many may not believe that a family can exist across the pages; yet sometimes that family is stronger than the living, breathing kind. Yes, I wear my heart on my sleeve.. When we hold pain and hurt inside for too long, it begins to fester and sometimes it rots away the soul. I kept too many things inside far too long, and now I guess age has taught me that being honest and direct does not mean a person is weak... For me.. it means that what you see is who you get... Thank you for always being there when I need you. I pray that Ive been there for you at least once... hehe... one adds up... Congratulations to the new Casting additions to my beautiful BIG SKY family. Our Master is watching over us. Time for me to sleep. Have a blessed day!
