It was Enesha and Nwulu V.C that made me to pick up greater intrest to further a research on Festus Iyayi Violence and Ngugis petals of Blood. This is because the way and manner they treated this contemporary literary texts arouse my feelings for a further interpretation. DIALA Initiated me into the ritual of written African Drama, while the sage of our time Agbada invited me to Appreciate Shakespeare as world acclaimed Dramatist. Furthermore, he appraised the studies in Drama to deepen my root into the genre of liturature. On One hand, Onuekwusi impacted in me the Romantic Spirit through the studies of Romanticism and Made me a Romantic poet and a lover of Natural things. Then, Emela made me to undestand that the poet is a custodian of culture. Through the rituals of African poetry, i met Okigbo, Jp clark, Okotpitek and many others African literary poets. I became a traditional poet. The show moved on to the south and East literary landscape where Leon introduce me to the background of the south and East literature. Through their poetry drama, and novels i was able to understand that land and cultural heritage is essential to their literature. Nwulu and Enesha re-enforce their literary lmpact in my literary studies through the modernist period where Eliot and co- touch me with their poetry. Richard and Bigger became an intresting character i would never forget. Again Leon and Emela expand my perception of children& Adolecent literature and the victorian period became one of my intresting period in English literature. Poetry and prose became the favourite genre for me through the eyes of Nwulu and Enesha... Next time we will talk about our language specialist(lecturers) where Prof P.A ANYAWU LEAD the re generating force of linguistic scholars. Thanks to them all for their wonderful impact in my academic scholarship. #Special Dedication#
