It was a balmy 22 degree day back on February 5th, 2011 when several brave CDI employees took their first Plunge into the cold waters of Weaver Lake. This first plunge was bitter sweet, as it was missing one very vivacious employee who unexpectedly passed away only weeks prior. Shelly was a character to say the least, she was the epitome of Carpe Diem. She lived everyday to the fullest and shared her joy with everyone who came in contact with her. She LOVED Rick Springfield and all things animal but especially pigs, so much so her laughs often ended with either a snort or a squeal. That year CDI employees dressed as pig angels in purple tutus (purple was her favorite color) in her honor. ~ Every year we jump we hold her close in our hearts. 12 DAYS TILL WE JUMP! Bet you can’t guess what the team will be dressed as this year!
