It was a bit stressful and funny tonight... I invited over for dinner at 7pm the EMS team who responded to my 117 emergency call for my dad 2 days ago as a gesture of gratitude as my dad was well and back home already. At 7pm we had another emergency because my dad was running out of breath. His oxygen tank was empty. I had to call 117 as we did not know what to do. The responders came in less than 10 minutes. It was funny because it was the same team invited for dinner who responded. I learned later that it was their day off but they decided to assemble at their headquarters before going to our place when my distress call came and they did not waste time waiting for another team and head off to our home. We did have dinner afterwards but it was 2 hours later. I really admire them even more after learning that they are in fact all volunteers. I salute them!
