It was a blessing having Dr. Raymond Hancock with us this past Sunday! He has been one of my greatest mentors in the faith. He and I have been close since my youth and he has been my counselor starting out as a teenage preacher and to this day. The doctors have given him two months to live, but at this moment he is defying the odds! He will soon be preaching, The Lord willing for Dr. David McCoy in the Atlanta area and Dr. Jack Trieber in Santa Clara, CA. He is not going to stop running until his course is complete. Too many people die before they really live. Dr. Hancock is going to live until he dies. I say Amen! As we sat for hours and reminisced of the past and dreamed of the future, this verse came to mind: Romans 14:8: For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord:whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lords. I love Dr. Hancock, please pray for him.
