It was a building built way back in 1917. British architecture. I can still hear the sound of those wooden steps on which i climbed each day.. or rather jumped two stairs at a time to get to the classroom.. !!! Running across the corridor because i was late for the class.. bumping into the history professor who was a jolly good old man.. slowwww down... !! :D.. And with the ear plugs of my player still in my ears.. which was crooning a beautiful song. And suddenly caught by the princi.. she said.. young lady, come here. Hand over those ear phones ! :(. I was dumbfounded.. but i had no choice but to hand over. She said ..meet me after the class! hehe. Nothing much.. She said.. if i find you with these on the corridors again, i will not allow you here ! I apologised.. but the strange thing is as i climbed down the stairs i put them on again and it was such an unconscious act.. kind of craving to listen to music..as if it was food for soul. And walking along a path laden with a carpet of gulmohar flowers i was singing alone,.. along with this song which is deeply beautiful ! Kind of breathtaking the way the singer has sung it !
