It was a cold November morning in Springfield, Massachusetts and, Aric Kalvin, a thirty-two year old Ex- Marine Staff Sergeant and, newly graduated FBI special agent, is driving home after his early morning work out over at Westover Air Reserve Base in Chicopee, Massachusetts. Aric is driving the posted speed limit of Thirty-five miles per hour in his 2012 Chevrolet Camaro. He approaches a red light at the intersection of Belmont Avenue and, Sumner Avenue (formerly known as the X). May as well get a decent cup of coffee and, a tea for the Wife Aric says to himself, Nothing beats a good cup of French vanilla coffee from Dunkin. Aric pulls into the parking lot and, parks his Camaro in what seems to always be readily available to him. As he opens his door a rush of cold New England air rushes in and hits him like a brick wall. He hurries out of his car and into the franchise. How are you today Special Agent Kalvin? Judy the manager for the past few years asks. Is your Wife due yet? No shes not due for another three to five weeks Judy. He looks at her with concern, whats with the new greeting? No more plain old hi Aric? Just thought Id do something different today He gives a short laugh, Well Ill take the usual and a medium tea as well. Picking up something for Jessica I assume? Gotta try and score some brownie points some how, Im getting tired of sleeping on the couch ya know. Judy fixes Arics coffee and tea, hands over the two beverages and says, I dont see how she can throw you out of the bed, when you jog by here in the summer I feel like Im watching an Abercrombie and Fitch model jogging by. Aric gives a sincere smile gives her a ten dollar bill then replies, keep the change Judy and Finish that Micro-Biology degree, we can use someone with your talents at the Bureau: Aric walks back to his car in a hurry and turns on the local rock radio station Lazer 99.3 and cranks up his radio.
