It was a happy Friday for friends and families of more than 200 Soldiers of the 1st Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Infantry Division! Loved ones gathered at Fort Riley to welcome home the first group of CAB Soldiers from Afghanistan. The Soldiers, all part of an advance party, spent nine months in Southern Afghanistan providing aerial support to International Security Assistance Force. More groups of CAB Soldiers are expected to continue arriving at Fort Riley as the brigade completes its return from Afghanistan. (Video by Staff Sgt. Donnie Martin, 1st Inf. Div.
