It was a long day. Standing outside a locked school in Islington in the dark at 7 in the morning a fox trotted down the middle of the road. The day went well, the return journey less so. Arrived at tube station to find it closed because the escalators werent working. Whatever happened to good, old-fashioned stairs? Had to catch a bus, lugging the days equipment, walk half a mile, get on the Docklands Railway, change at Canning Town before reaching the car at 5, just in time to hit the M25 and M1 at rush hour. Home at 10.30. Going to do bugger all today, and enjoy it!
