It was a once in a lifetime memory: My Mom, Dad, sister, brother-in-law, nephew and me, all sitting in a row at the Coed Theater, watching this charming live action version of Popeye, portrayed by the most versatile comic actor of our time, Robin Williams. Imposkable. He always came back from adversity when it seemed he was headed for Davey Jones locker. We all would have given every can of spinach in the world to save you from your depreshagun. Man overboard. The most brilliant minds are very often the most tortured. He bounced back from his heart issues. All we can say now is smooth sailing, Old Salt. You have arrived in Sweet haven. King Features is deeply saddened to learn of the death of Robin Williams. He was a phenomenally versatile talent who brought our Popeye the Sailor Man to life in a unique and enduring way. Our condolences to his family and all who loved him. RIP #RobinWilliams
