It was a rough week for my family. There were many personal trials with which we were faced and which we overcame or are still in the process of overcoming. Professionally, both my husband and I dealt with quite a bit of stress, albeit his was from corporate America while mine was triggered by the burdens I see my clients carrying on a daily basis. It was a trying week and now its Friday. I dragged myself out of bed, quite literally, since during the course of the week I had actually thrown my back out, and landed in the bathroom to start my day. Readers, be intentional to make the first thing you do in the morning a Godly thing. My first act in the morning is to turn my devotional calendar page and heres my scripture for today: Matthew 28:20b, And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. As I gingerly nursed a sore back, scratched the sleep from my still exhausted eyes and reflected on the challenging week I had, God made it a point to remind me that no matter what, he is with me...always. I am encouraged by that today and hope you are too. Whatever kind of week youve had or whatever kind of day lies ahead, good, bad or ugly, you are not alone. Take refuge in Gods presence and remember that hes not going anywhere! Have a blessed day!
