RIP Sweet King: My friends we are approaching the 40-day mark before the protest and rally, which I would like to say is going to be historic, but I can only say that I hope it will be. This weekend we are going to COUNT THE COMMITTED and issue numbers for the City Hall steps. I do NOT think we are at 300. We are going to push in the last few weeks to contact the media and do our best. Why? Because it is UNACCEPTABLE THAT WE LIVE OUR LIVES THIS WAY AND LET THEIR LIVES BE SNUFFED OUT. Little King was eight years old and put to his death because a family member simply no longer wanted him present. LOOK AT THIS BABYS FACE!! I know we all know this face - how many times have we seen these babies eyes!! Pleading with confusion and pain, begging for help, and we fail them, again and again and again and again. WE WILL ***NEVER*** RESCUE OURSELVES OUT OF THIS MY FRIENDS!! Without the political will, without massive demonstration, without lawsuits dragging their killing asses to court, we will never ever ever get out of this!! RISE UP MY FRIENDS!! NOW IS THE TIME, WHY NOT!! Please call this weekend with your name, phone number and email and let me know you are coming, let me know who you are bringing and let me know what you can do to help get the word out that WE ARE NOT GOING TO TOLERATE THE SLAUGHTER ANY LONGER!!
