It was another action packed Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup race at Hockenheim yesterday with Denmarks Nicki Thiim overcoming a damp track to take the chequered flag. Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Middle East test drive Michael Ammermüller finished 5th to keep his title hopes alive - the German currently 3rd in the overall drivers standings after 5 of the 10 races. Former GT3CCME champion Clemens Schmid finished 14th with Hannes Waimer battling back to 22nd after taking a knock which spun his car. The race also featured VIP driver Patrick Dempsey who couldnt get past the experienced Waimer and finished 23rd out of 28 competitors. Next week were off to the Hungaroring for Round 6 - stay tuned for more.
