It was another windy and cool but not cold day Thursday around the region, but conditions will be rapidly changing for Friday. A slightly cooler afternoon leads into an evening and overnight of possible showers, before cold temperatures take over early next week. Friday morning will be start out much like the last few days with a mix of sun and clouds with generally calm conditions and cooler temperatures. Morning lows will be in the low to mid 30s so take the jacket with you. This afternoon wont be as windy as Thursday and we will continue with the mix of sun and clouds. Highs today barely break the 50 mark. This evening could be a bit dicey around Siouxland. Clouds will increase and we could see a few light showers starting anytime after around 6-7PM and lasting until about 10-11PM, so our Friday night football games will be wet and cold as well as temperatures will be in the upper 40s around kickoff, then dropping into the low 40s by games end. Overnight lows will be in the low to mid 30s. The weekend is looking fantastic and very fall like. Partly cloudy skies will be seen both Saturday and Sunday with high temperatures in the upper 50s. Early next week we should be looking at highs in the upper 40s and another shot of light showers could be possible early next Tuesday. Happy Friday!
