It was made official today. I will be teaching at Buckeye Career Center this fall. This was a very difficult decision for me to leave Conotton Valley after 16 years. I have a lot of great memories of CV and have worked with many great teachers and taught some awesome students. I very proud of the accomplishments CV has been able to make especially this past year becoming an Excellent school. We have worked hard to get our test scores up. Coaching this years basketball team and winning the OVAC Championship was a great experience. I have enjoyed doing the Talent Show every year. One of the proudest things I was part of was the Veterans Day Program. It got bigger and bigger every year and it was awesome to see the respect our students have for the Veterans and appreciate everything they have done. It was great working with Danielle Caldwell running the Veterans Day Program and working together with her everyday for many many years. I will miss making her run Veteran to Veteran as I announced who was in attendance. There are a million great memories of CV that I will never forget like the Joey Applegate and Jay-Rooster with my truck stories I will have to tell at Buckeye. The best thing about going to Buckeye is I will still have some Conotton Valley students. I am ready to start a new chapter in my teaching career, but I will always be a Rocket.
