It was my friends daughters birthday, she wanted to have a Ben 10 themed party. She even wanted to dress like a boy because she has a younger cousin who is a boy and she felt like everyones attention in the family had shifted to the cousin. So maybe if she had a boy theme they might give her the same attention as her cousin. She eventually outgrew that stage but I was deeply moved when I thought how this can affect everyone. Sometimes we want to be like people who are prospering in certain areas where we arent. We feel like they have Gods attention. Sometimes people even leave their area of calling to do what those individuals are doing. It has been said many times that if you try to be somebody else, who will be you? It is attractive to be yourself. May God grant us strength to remain who He created us to be even when we have not achieved what we want to achieve yet.
