It was one of the best doctors appointments that I have had in a very long time (except that I did really like my new ENT guy on Friday quite a bit). As soon as he walked in he took one look at my chart and said, I love you and gave me a big hug (I mean, Im sure hes a friendly guy anyway but I assumed he based that off of seeing my name on my chart). He was very kind about my anxiety of doctors, let me hold his hand when they drew blood, and was generally quite reassuring about the state of my health. He was very grandfatherly and prescribed getting a boyfriend, and also told me that, in the absence of a primary care physician, I could use him for all of my medical needs including a broken heart if the need arises. I told him, Thank you. Im not really sure you know exactly what youre getting yourself into with that offer, but Ill take you up on it!! Overall a great appointment, and Im glad I had half a day to get that taken care of.
