It was only 76 years ago that Adolf Hitler decided to kill six million people. But he couldnt do it without the help of 15 million soldiers, including the Wehrmacht and the Waffen SS, in the German army (1935–45). But even they couldnt do it without the help of billions of people all around the world just sitting and watching. History repeats itself. This time its happening in the Middle East, right now in a small city called Kobani. Maybe if the world had done something right after or even before a number of Jews were killed when concentration camps started in March 1933, there wouldnt have been a holocaust taking another six million lives. For those who are looking for an excuse for racism and stereotypes, I must say that this is not about a country or a religion. History shows that bad people have always found a coat to cover themselves. Albert Einstein said: The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who dont do anything about it. Im not from Germany, Im not from Syria and Im not from Turkey. I have never been in Kobani. Im not a Jewish and Im not a Muslim. But Im Human And I Care. As the great Persian poet, Saadi, said: “Human beings are members of a whole, In creation of one essence and soul. If one member is afflicted with pain, Other members uneasy will remain. If you have no sympathy for human pain, The name of human you cannot retain.”
