It was privilege to speak to the Friday congregation at Jamia Islamia Ghousia, Luton on 27 September 2013. During the Khutba (sermon), I highlighted traditional teaching of peaceful coexistence, acceptance and hospitality in Christianity and Islam. Present wave of terrorism and extremism causes killing of innocent people and allows religion to be misused. Instead of blaming others, religious leadership and communities need to be active to eliminate ideologies people among themselves, who promote extremism.
