It was something altogether in yesterdays Combined Sundaylight Fellowship @Benin City Zone, Benin Diocese of Watchman Catholic Charismatic Renewal Movement. After their usual Bible Discourse class on Understanding The Principles Of God For The Church with sub-heading Builders of Decayed Places (Isaiah 61:4; 58:12, Neh. 1:1-4; 2:1-5) which was soley centred on Evangelism, a brother asked a question on why people dont go for evangelism after being born again and converted. Is it because of shame, lack of money, time factor, or that something is wrong somewhere? The Diocesan Pastor, Linus Arinze, while answering the question broke down in the spirit and almost cried/shed tears literally because we have left the Lords great commission to pursuing shadows. He said emphatically that he has no restriction in the spirit in closing the church for us to go out en mass for evangelism. Also, he said that we can go home with our Offerings that God is not interested in our offerings if we are not bent on obeying His command. And he acually closed the church and we left for massive door-to-door evangelism. He even said on no account should anybody go home or return to the church without evangelising till 2:30pm. Friends, I never see it this way before
