It was the first of our Sunshine planting days around the community today. It was beautiful to be out and about with sunflowers, happy volunteers and gorgeous little farmers. Our focus was on a particular street, having a hard time with many boarded up Housing NZ homes. We planted out front gardens of residents as well as the empty sad ones. Big thanks to all who came to help - especially you Catherine FD. We look forward to the next planting day in a few weeks. Where we will add veges to these new plantings as well as more sunflowers around the neighbourhood.
