It was the night before the first day of school (not for me!) and all through my house peace and quietness resided. I started to prepare for bed. My mind began to wander and thoughts of my school friends popped in my head. I looked at the clock and said, It is eleven fifteen and they are all in bed. So, I grabbed my smartphone and began a text to inspire them as they began their morning preparation. To my surprise I received a reply from one school friend! Go to bed and get some rest, I said, God has all your challenges in His hand! Then to bed I went without any visions of what lay ahead. As the morning began to appear, I hear Mr. Davis scurrying around and I doze quickly back off to sleep. As the day light crept in my window I slowly opened my eyes. It was 7:45a.m. ( I guess I heard the last bus pull away from the bus port) to my surprise! Slowly I crawled out of bed to see what lays ahead. I opened my back door and peeked outside to see the beautiful plants and feel the sun on my face. I grabbed my Smartmix and headed out to play. I began to water the plants, prune them and gather my harvest for the day with such pleasure. Wow! It is two hours later and I need to get inside! Brunch time before I know it. Eleven oclock and I havent had my coffee. Rest and relax its the first day of school not for me! Retirement is great for me. I am loving it!
