It was wet but warm as we headed up the hill. Looking for a tunnel that is 117 years old. While we did look all over the area it should be in, we didnt find it. There were too many leaves on trees, devils club and grass in the way to see everything. We will have to try again closer to winter. It was not a total loss as we found the mines old cabin, that someone had been fixing up maybe 40 years ago and now abandoned. You just never know what you might find on these hikes!
